Dr. Laurie Sicard graduated from SUNY (State University of New York) in Brockport majoring in biological sciences. After graduating Magna Cum Laude she went on to attend optometry school in Memphis, TN at Southern College of Optometry. She earned her Doctor of Optometry in 2009, practicing for a year in Tampa, FL before she moved to Lafayette in 2010 to join Azar Eye Clinic.

Dr. Sicard practices comprehensive optometry including eye disease management (glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, etc.) specialty contact lens fitting (for keratoconus and post refractive surgery), pediatrics, and co-management of refractive and cataract surgery. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Acadiana Optometric Society.
